|  In 1975, Dr. Dowty received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic, St. Louis , MO. During the next five years he continued to augment his training with Post-Graduate studies in Scoliosis management, Bio-Energy Synchronization, Applied Kinesiology,Clinical Kinesiology, and Acupuncture and worked in three internship positions of distinctly different specialties, moving from Missouri to Florida to Texas.
Having determined his goals for his own practice he moved to Wichita in the spring of 1980 and introduced the Kinesiology specialty to Wichita. From his small office on West Douglas, Dr. Dowty's performance became a "waiting list" practice with no time to accept new patients for up to six months on several occasions. He needed help! Moving to a larger downtown location allowed him to accept three new doctors into his practice. In less than five years the downtown location on Broadway was no longer big enough and the doctors had to rotate their work days and share rooms to care for their patients.
 In 1993 Dr. Dowty opened a beautiful office in the Boulevard Plaza, where fourteen young doctors were mentored to successful practices of their own. "I don't know for sure, but we may have been the largest kinesiology clinic in the Midwest." Being large is not what it is all about with Dr. Dowty…but "being the best possible doctor and providing phenomenal results for people with unresolved health care problems IS what this is all about!"

 After thirteen years in the Boulevard Plaza, The Wichita Kinesiology Group, Inc. dba. Chiro+Plus; has relocated to a bright new office still in the Central Wichita area, still easy to find, still with friendly and efficient staff, and multiple doctors from which to choose for convenient access to care. The new office is at 5205 E. Kellogg Drive, on the south side of the freeway between Oliver and Edgemoor next to the Wichita Suites Hotel and the Scotch & Sirloin restaurant. Regardless of your direction of travel always take the Oliver exit and proceed East on the south side frontage road.
